Remembering my good friend José Uribe and our great trips around Denmark and Columbia with Coldane duo. Joining José and his family in a “hacienda” drinking Aguardiente and eating Josés speciality: Ajiaco. I will for sure miss him a lot!

Right now I started to book concerts for the coming season. I will develop my project about “Andalucism in music” furthermore and make to versions: one with conference and one where I will explain  during the concert.  I have changed some repertory and added the Rondeña by Regino Sainz de la Maza. It´s difficult because i can only study a little bit because of my lovely baby. But on the other hand my baby gived me a lot of energy too. I will also compose a piece myself about my vision of Andalucia through music.

Trying the new Gibson SG. Lovely guitar!! Will play some Black Sabbath with the students when I start to work again. I am thinking specially from the album Heraven and Hell……….

As I am 8 month pregnant I will leave my job and concerts for a little while. I suppose I will  be back in august 2016 with new projects and hopefully lots of energy. In the meanwhile I will work on a progessive guitar method for very beginners. ( If I have time and energy ha ha…)

In december I had the pleasure to play with this group of students for the last time…. as they are now going further into the world for new challenges.

At least we ended the circle nicely with at great repertory of Egberto Gismonti, Paulo Bellinati, Astor Piazolla, Domenico Scarlatti and much more. I really wish them luck in the future!!

The project of “Spil dansk dagen” is a national event all over Denmark. My guitar students will together with violin, flute and song students will perform a very varied repertory of danish music. There will be two concerts in Guldborgsund during that week and both free of entrance.

We will perform lovely danish songs in instrumental version like: “Jeg gik mig ud en sommerdag”, “en yndig og frydefuld sommertid” og “det var en skærsommer dag” and works by Carl Nielsen.

Humoristic songs like “Fy fy skamme” and” Olsen banden” and of course the beautiful “Elefantens vuggevise”.

To end the concert we will play Kim Larsen, Pierre Dørge and Tim Cristensen.

We hope both the audience and the students will discover new things about the diversity of danish music.

Mille Bureau tilbyder ved særlige lejligheder musik til bryllup eller reception. Geografisk kan musikken tilbydes på Lolland Falster og Sjælland. Der er tale om klassisk musik – på klassisk guitar som danner en afslappet atmosfærisk ramme. Musikken fungerer meget fint som reception. Musikken er klassisk men dog “let fordøjelig” og kan derfor nydes af alle uden et musikalsk øre. Mille spiller i denne sammenhæng musik af Antonio Vivaldi, Silvius Leopold Weiss, Robert de Viseé, og Gaspar Sanz. Repertoiret vil være blandet med populær musik af Beatles, danske sange, film musik samt specielle ønsker.

Alhambra in Granada is always pure inspiration.  Here I captured ” la Puerta del vino” from which they sold wine in the 13- 14 century. Its is also the image that Manuel de Falla sent to Debussy on a postcard from Granada to Paris and inspired him to compose “nights in the garden of Spain”. Falla brings some bars of this piece into his “homenaje a Debussy”. In Granada and Alhambra – everything is poetry.

Visiting guitar makers in Granada I was very happy about “my own”  constructor Antonio Marin Montero being the most simphatic and modest of them all: a gran maestro.

Visiting the Music Museum in Barcelona where you find a pretty selection of guitars. Well, my favorite is Simplicio. But I also like to see Fleta. I am on the waitinglist for a guitar of his grandson: Gabriel Fleta. The list is about 11 years!!
