Al over the city you hear percussion of the parades, the city sounds and vibrates. From\u201dAbad\u00eda del Sacromonte\u201d in the gipsy part of town, they carry barefoot, and on their backs a copy of a heavy statue during a whole day. The statue is called\u201dCristo de los Gitanos\u201d. To complete the sacrifice, I once witnessed the gypsies running up the hill\u201dCuesta del Chapiz\u201d in the Albaycin to return to their abbey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My piece is\u201dlontano\u201d which in music means, to hear things from a distance.
